The mission of D.O.G.S. is to properly train owners in the handling and care of their canine companion by encouraging bonding of dog and owner with easy training techniques and complete care instructions for a dog to live in his forever home.

Lisa Carpenter, CPDT, LMT, VA
Lisa Carpenter knew that she wanted to work with animals since she was a very young girl. At the age of 9 she took in a stray cat. At that time it became very clear to her that caring for animals was her calling while she continued to bring in other strays. In 1998, she attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy becoming a certified massage therapist. In 2002, she became an instructor at the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy where she was able to introduce canine massage into the curriculum. In 2008, she decided to further her knowledge of dog training as well as care for dogs by attending the Animal Behavioral College becoming certified as a Dog Trainer and Veterinary Assistant. Afterwards, she opened "D.O.G.S." with Sonja Meyers in Quakertown, Pa taking care of in home clients, teaching obedience classes, and continued to teach canine massage. She also volunteered at Last Chance Ranch by training and caring for the dogs to prepare the dogs for their own forever home. She moved to the Oak Grove, KY area in 2010 continuing her passion to teach and care for animals.
